17:00 p.m.

Mamme-sho told me to take a few hours to do whatever I want to do, she's got Thomas and Marie-Estelle has Little Joe for the next little while. Okay then!

Two nights ago I went to the theatre with Jeanne. We got there early and bought our tickets and then went next door so I could buy some postcards. While picking them out I spotted a table that had some differnet sauces available for taste testing.I couldn't resist. I picked one with chocolate and caramel, tasted it, and gave it a 10. Then I bought a jar of it to send back home. Hopefully I can mail it before I eat it.! The movie was in french so I zoned out alot. I focused on trying to make the popcorn last, it made it to the end of the pre-views. All in all it was a very fun night. I enjoyed myself immensely.

Yesterday was a good day too. I woke up and had breakfast with Thomas, and then left with Jeanne to go to the market. On our way we had a little adventure when Jeanne accidentally walked into a latter. I didn't know what to do! I strongly suggested that we go back to the house but she insisted we continue our trip. We walked around for about an hour before heading back to the house. Aside from the road bump upon our arrival, we had a good time. The market is always a fascinatin place to be.

When we got back to house I gave Thomas his lunch. Then I changed Little Joe and put him down for a nap. I read stories to Thomas and we watched Mickey Mouse. Then Mamme-sho told me to take a few hours and do something for myself. (Okay, I mean I only spent the morning out on the town). But she was persistant and it was an absolutely gorgeous day outside. So I packed me towel, my book and my waterbottle and headed to the beach. It was heavenly. I stayed for the afternoon and came back, battery fully recharged.

I fed Thomas and Little Joe their dinner and then put them to bed. Then the remainder of the house-hold went out for dinner and left me to curl up in the big leather chair with my book. I was instructed to fix for my dinner whatever I wished. Free riegn in a french cuisin? Awesome! It was a great night.

Today has been cloudy so it's been an indoor deal for the most part. I colored with Thomas for about an hour this morning. Around lunchtime Mamme-sho's cousin and friend from Germany came over. They didn't speak a peck of English and I don't speak any German so we didn't cross pathes after the indroductions. They seemed very nice though.

We we're going to to go see some fireworks in town tonight. Unfortunetely it started raining and the wind picked up alot so the fireworks got canceled. But then, a night indoors with a good film and a glass of wine and the sound of rain pounding on the ancient roof is not a bad alternative either. :)
