Back in Paris

So we've been in Paris for three days today. Mathilde is at girl scout camp or five days, so it's Cecile, the boys, and myself here. Yesterday we went to a castle in the neighborhood and chilled on the castle grounds. The veiw of Paris is incredible from the edge of the grounds by the way.

I was going to go to Nantes this weekend to see my sister Lu, but that fell through due her basketball tournament schedule. We're aiming for another weekend soon :)

So tomorrow the family is leaving to go see some friends and I'm staying here. I'll be myself all day Friday and Sat, unless there's a chance Elizabeth will come and hang out for while. So that's my tentative plan.

I cooked dinner a couple of nights ago. I got to try out my awesome new apron that I got from Jean-Claude and Monique (it works great) and I'm going to be getting a LOT more use out of it in the future! I made Zucchini Flan, or as Alison will remember it from times past, Squash and Cheese :) It turned out really deliscious.

I've a couple interesting experiences in my room since we've been back. I've unclogged my shower (I could've sworn i pulled out a dead mouse but it was definitely a glob of hair that was NOT mine). I know that story just made you're day...

Last night I had to capture a spider the size of my palm who was hanging out in the corner above my pillow. GROSS. I tried flushing him down the toilet and he kept coming back up, I couldn't believe it! *shiver*

I'm still waiting for my care-package to come. I feel like a kids waiting for chirstmas, I"M SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS PACKAGE PEOPLE! The anticipation is killer.

Well that's the hum-dinger folks. Peace!
