On my own

Its been a few days since I've updated but I finally have minute! Oh where to begin...

Two days ago I woke up around eight and met Elizabeth, Jeanne, their parents, and Grand-pere Daniel downstairs. We hopped in the car and drove about fifteen minutes to the BOAT DOCK! After another thirty minutes of preparing everything we took of in his awesome little motor boat. It was really cold and really windy so there were lots of waves. Fortunetely I was equipped with an awesome yellow saailors jacket so I was spared most of the wetness. We ran out of gas so we had to go back and fill up, meanwhile Nicole (Elizabeth's mom) left to go back to the house. We went back out for another forty-five minutes and went around lots of islands and such. If one must wake up early then this is very good reason to do so. It was so much fun!

We got back to the house and had lunch. Then Elizabeth left with her dad to go back to Paris. She left yesterday morning to go to the States. LUCKY! haha. So she and her dad left on the back of his Harley.

A little while later Jean-Claude and Monique Janicot, one set of my adopted grand parents (the other of course being the Daltons) came to drop Mathilde off. She'd been staying with them for a few weeks so two days ago was the first I'd met her. It was SO good to see Jean-Claude and Monique!! I think they were as excited to see me as I was them, Monique and I were arm in arm the rest of the night. I can't wait to go back and see them at the beginning of August.

They left this morning after breakfast. And this afternoon Antoine and Cecile left with Paul and Mathilde. They'll be gone for a week, which means I'm in charge of Thomas and Little Joe until next Wednesday. Since they left with the older two, the entire atmospher has been so relaxed. We had lunch. I watched cartoons with Thomas while Little Joe took a nap. Marie-Estelle, the old nun who predominantly spends her time with Joseph, played with him when he woke up. Right now Thomas is coloring and when he gets done we're going to the beach. How great is this?
