Leaving Britange

It's been a crazy couple of days! We had Cecile's birthday, two nights ago we had a HUGE barbecue which was totally fun. There were about fifty people (family, friends) and we had it in the back yard, over-looking the sunset. An evening of relaxing, chatting, a good view, good food, good wine, and good friends. Can't really get much better than that.

Yesterday Antoine and Cecile went to see one of their friends get ordained as a preist, so they were gone for several hours. Mean while Mammy-chou and I took the kids to the city to jmp on this huge trampoline and climb a rock climbing wall. I walked with the girls (Cecile's neices and Mathilde) on the pathway along the beach so it took us a good twenty minutes to get there. After we arrived and met Mammy-chou and the boys I was easily persuaded by Mammy-chou to walk around the city for bit while the kids played. Thankfully it's really hard to get lost in Dinard, so I made it back without any unwanted adventures. The kids got done and we headed back to the villa. We walked back through the city because the walk isn't as long. We stopped so I could buy a newspaper and the girls bought icecream. The rest of the day was pretty non-eventful, I got the kids their dinner and bathes, and then they went to bed.

Today we are leaving to go back to St. Germain, Paris. Everyone is at mass right now, I opted to stay here. We're having some company over for lunch, a retired french navy seal. So that should be interesting. We're leaving tonight around seven and driving straight thorugh, hopefully avoiding Paris straffic! Well, that's pretty much all that's happening currently.

Hope this finds my readers well!
